Sprague de Camp and Lin Carter brought the Hyborian World of Conan, the world’s most savage barbarian, to the attention of a new generation of readers. Their 1968 story Conan of the Isles culminated in an older Conan, having relinquished the throne of Aquilonia, adventuring in the Antilles before setting off to a new adventure in Mayapan. It seemed only natural for a devoted fan to continue Conan’s adventures further in that strange realm, and so I invite the reader to explore my take on his adventures there and beyond.”.
